Pasteur Sterile Processing Technician Training Program

A three-month professional training program for individuals beginning or advancing a career in sterile processing — including preparation for the CRCST examination.

Program overview

Built on the knowledge the work actually requires.

The program introduces students to the knowledge, terminology, safety principles, processes, and professional responsibilities associated with reusable medical-device reprocessing. The curriculum will be based substantially on the current HSPA CRCST technical manual and examination content areas, and combines instructor-led education, practical examples, guided discussion, quizzes, examination preparation, and career-development support.

Important distinction

Students who successfully meet Pasteur Healthcare Consulting's course requirements may receive a certificate of completion. That certificate is not the same as the CRCST credential.

The CRCST credential is independently awarded by the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) after an individual satisfies HSPA's current examination and experience requirements. Pasteur Healthcare Consulting prepares students for the examination but does not award the CRCST credential or guarantee examination success.
